Special Education

Becky Goodman

Mrs. Goodman has been a member of the CEE family since our doors opened in 1997. A native of Southern California, she moved to Arizona in 1983. She received a B.A. in Special Education from Arizona State University and also obtained a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University. Her mission is to assist her students in gaining the necessary skills that will allow them to become successful adults. Outside of school, she enjoys camping with her husband and their three children.

Mrs. Goodman’s professional mission statement is to provide each of her students with the tools, strategies, and confidence necessary for him or her to be successful, both immediately and in their future. As educators, we play a key role in helping students gain both self awareness and understanding. We have the responsibility of helping unlock and open the doors to each student's learning potential. Being able to identify each student's needs and effectively varying modes of instruction are essential in achieving a student's learning potential. All students can learn and have the right to learn. Respect students as individuals with a purpose and they will, in turn, return the same respect.
