Stacey Cochran is the owner and director of the Fit n’ Fun Educational Center. She brings a special combination of experience and qualifications specifically targeted to serve the needs of children. But, more importantly, she brings a devoted spirit to the nurturing of children so that they are encouraged to grow in every way. She personally oversees and develops the programs offered at the Center to guarantee that her philosophy of children is carried out on a daily basis. Mrs. Cochran holds a Bachelor of Science degree in physical education and special education from the University of Arizona. She has been a validator for the National Association of Educating the Young Child: a National Preschool Consultant for Project Active which is an integrated physical education program offered through the National Education Diffusion Network and the U.S. Department of Education.

Stacey opened Fit n’ Fun in November of 1985 after owning a competitive gymnastics facility in Scottsdale for five years and directing a YMCA program for youth in Tucson.

She is the founder and administrator of the Center for Educational Excellence, a K-8 charter school which has been named an “excelling school” from the Department of Education.
